Much to my chagrin, I had to bow out of tech reviewing a really good looking new book from SAMS. Just too much work on at the moment with DIDA which keeps taking longer than I thought it would. Basically, it's a ASP.NET version of Alex Homer's ASP 3.0 Web Techniques book which he wrote for Wrox a few years ago now. It's not a cookbook per se - there are thirteen chapters each with probably four or five examples that really drill down into various aspects of ASP.NET development. Alex is ably supported with contributions from Dave, Dan Wahlin and Dan Kent. It'll be a cracker. Guess I'll have to buy it now.
